How It Works
1. Sourcing From SPPP
We start by sourcing our plantlets from the prestigious Sustainable Plantlet Propagation Program (SPPP), renowned for its cutting-edge techniques in hydroponic plant cultivation. These plantlets are carefully selected for their proclivity to thrive in water-based environments.
2. Expert Cultivation
Once in our care, our team of expert growers meticulously cultivate and nurture these plantlets using advanced hydroponic methods. From precise nutrient solutions to optimal lighting conditions, we ensure that each plant receives the utmost care and attention throughout its growth journey.
3. Exclusive Water Lifestyle
At Indoor Water Gardens, we specialize in plants that have been cultivated exclusively in water. This means that from the moment they sprout, our plants are immersed in a water-based environment, allowing them to develop robust root systems and vibrant foliage perfectly adapted to life in water.
4. Quality Assurance
Before being shipped to your doorstep, every plant undergoes rigorous quality checks to ensure it meets our high standards of excellence. From health and vitality to size and aesthetics, we guarantee that only the finest specimens make it into your hands.
5. Nationwide Shipping

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Are Indoor Water Gardens' plants unique?
Yes! We are the only company in the world who sells certain varieties of water plants. We partner with our growers who have developed a proprietary cultivation methodology to grow plants that nobody else can grow in water.
What are Submergent, Semi-Emergent, and Emergent plants?
Submergent Plants: Plants that can survive completely underwater. These plants do great in aquariums and fish tanks.
Semi-Emergent Plants: Plants that can be partially underwater but need to be exposed to the air. These plants can have some of their leaves underwater but will not survive if fully submerged in water.
Emergent Plants: Plants that require the leaves to be above the water. While the roots thrive underwater, the leaves will decay if they are in the water. If you notice your leaves in the water, make sure to reconfigure your plant to ensure they stay out of the water.
Where do you ship?
We ship anywhere in the US! Our packaging method is designed to withstand the rough nature of shipping all year round!
How will my plant arrive?
Your plant will arrive in a plastic bag with a wet paper towel wrapped around the roots of your plant(s). This ensures your plant(s) stay hydrated while traveling to their forever home.
What do I need to do when my plant arrives?
When you receive your plant(s), place them in a container full of distilled or bottled water ensuring the roots are completely below the water. Don't have distilled or bottle water? Simply fill your container with tap water and let it sit out overnight to acclimate the water before the plants arrive. Then, once you receive your plants, you can place them directly in your container full of acclimated tap water.
When can I expect my order to arrive?
You can expect your order to arrive in 2-3 weeks from when your order is placed.
